He and Chip were playing on the porch a couple hours ago and then he jumped on me as I walked out and played with me for a few minutes ❤️. He went inside with me to pick out his own treat. After that I took him over to see the two new bird baths. One has water and the other has nuts. This is playing out as well as I could've hoped. ❤️

I went outside a little bit ago and called him and he came down out of the trees for his hickory nut.

I have done it several more times since. I can't believe he comes when I call him!! ❤️❤️❤️ He's not so eager to jump on me now it seems but he sure comes running for his hickory nut. Sadly I haven't seen Nibby in 4-5 days now. I think she may have relocated. I hope she's just wilding up and not coming around but still hangs with her brothers in the trees. Both of them were snuggled in a blanket on the porch yesterday though and no Nibby girl.

I saw Nibby today!! All three from her litter came when I went out back calling for them earlier today. No Nibbles today though. I think I got out there too late today for him. Busy work day.

He sure didn’t today... Ran right up my leg and fetched his treat from my pocket. My goodness I wish someone would’ve warned me that I could love a squirrel like a favorite dog! But regularly seeing all four just makes all the anxiety and sleepless nights totally worthwhile.
